Solution: There are various innovative approaches. The methods a company might want to consider are below.

Focused events or campaigns: Helps create many ideas and chooses the best one from these organizations. A weakness in this strategy is that these occurrences do not generate the structure of an innovative company. The review team may disregard good thoughts.

Innovation teams: Groups are allocated something to produce. This could include R&D (research & development) or possibly other groups.

Collaborative idea environments: Interacting with staff in a supportive and creative setting to create numerous thoughts. In manufacturing businesses, this sort of strategy is hard to use. This strategy may make some staff uncomfortable.

Ad-hoc innovation: Support the creativity of staff who work on their projects. In order to help staff separately, the correct culture should be set in the organization.

Ad-hoc improvement activities: Generate fewer thoughts that have valuable input than was seen before, to create subtly changes. These improvements lead to creative employees. Six Sigma is the common ad hoc approach to enhancement.

However, creating innovative systems and efficient transitions to systems of differentiation require considerably distinct cultures and skills. The company should, in respects, act as a start-up, in order to systematically, effectively develop and handle the shift for successful applications and in some ways, behave like a start-up. The more complex and more massive the IT demands of the organization are, the harder traditional IT departments will be to accomplish. When dozens of processes and policies are in place to avoid unforeseen or unwanted modifications to the infrastructure, it is also hard to be flexible and quick.
